November Newsletter 2025

Hello Pendragon subscribers!

Castles are our heritage in stone. Since our launch in September, the team have been working hard to achieve our aims of restoring castles in Britain. Even in that short time we have recruited new volunteers with experience and expertise in heritage projects; developed a deeper understanding of what makes a castle restoration successful; and we are beginning our next phase of research and project planning.

We were also excited to announce our first castle magazine and calendar. These were a great success, our first print run completely sold out! Celebrating the history and beauty of our castles, both highlight the magnificence of our heritage and reaffirm our commitment to seeing them have a vibrant future. There are still a few left at https://pendragon.foundation/store/ and we are already making plans for a second instalment of the magazine to release in April 2026.

In the last month, our media team started a Youtube channel. Over there you can find videos, shorts and livestreams about the history of castles and the challenges of heritage restoration. With more great guests coming on the channel, now is the time to head on over and subscribe at https://www.youtube.com/@PendragonFoundation.

We are active on X (formerly known as Twitter), which is a great place to keep up-to-date with everything we are doing and to promote our work. There are several projects in the works that we are looking forward to announcing in the next couple of months and X is the fastest place to hear about these exciting developments. Follow us at https://x.com/PendragonOrg.

We are always looking for new volunteers. There are many roles to choose from and whatever your skills we'll find a place for you to contribute towards our efforts. At the moment, we are particularly looking for people who have experience in and would like to support in:

  • social media
  • video creation/filming/editing
  • researching
  • heritage restoration expertise

If you're keen to find out more, please email pendragonvolunteering@gmail.com.

Finally, we would like to thank you for supporting us. We are so grateful for the trust so many people have placed in us to make a positive contribution to British society. We are proud to have the backing of talented, smart and patriotic individuals who care about our heritage and want to see it thrive once more. It energises and motivates us and we are humbled by those who have given their time, money and voice to bolster our cause.

Heartened by our strong beginning, we are determined to rebuild Britain's strongholds, to restore castles to being centres of culture, commerce and community. Onwards we must go!

All best wishes,

Nathan Hood
